This drawing was lightly sketched with pencil and then drawn with a black brush pen. His nose and eyes are colored with glitter pens. A very simple drawing, yet, I hope it brightens your day just a bit.
This is a drawing of a random popstar I made up. His name is Alejandro Bolvaire and he has the voice of Danny Gokey. XD (Danny Gokey is awesome -- give him a listen sometime) Anyway, Alejandro here is mostly crayon, but his hair and shades are colored with brush pens. He has an ink pen outline. This is a drawing colored with crayons and brush pens. His colors and appearance was inspired by a wolf avatar I created on an app. I completely transformed the likeness of my wolf avatar and made him half human.

A life drawing I did yesterday via zoom with Drawing Life in Glasgow. The pose and theme were modelled after Egon Schiele. Charcoal, brush pens and conte on brown A3.
Men fall victim to domestic violence as well. ManKind organised a fundraiser last night for victims of domestic violence in Scotland with over 30 models striking short poses. This includes the ones towards the end. Brush pen on A3.
I started with watercolor and watercolor, but then realised I needed a more opaque black and switched to gouache, acrylic and brush pens for the final touches. Most of the original looseness was lost after that, however he looks more accurate now I think.
I used brush pen and watercolors. The most challenging part was holding back on excessive pen lines to render the fur, using patches of paint instead. Although I think the background is a bit dark and there a few mistakes, I feel that learned from this.

Today’s urban sketching effort. I tried to capture light coming through windows at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. Posca markers, brush pens and water soluble pencil on brown A4
Mixed media (pencil, markers, brush pens, collage) on A3. This is based on some old doodles from around 2003 (I think). I glued the old thing on a bigger paper and completed it this Christmas/New Year 2019.
